Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request service, join the Comfort Club, ask for a second opinion, chat with us, call, text or email us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, service address, details about your home and equipment, and your message.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, the website or ad that referred you, campaign details (such as UTM parameters and ad click identifiers), and general location derived from your IP address. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies.

Information from phone calls. We use call tracking phone numbers to understand which ads and pages lead to calls. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality, training and customer service.

Information from others. If you apply for financing, our financing partners may share the status of your application with us so we can complete your project.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your requests and schedule, provide and follow up on service
• Communicate with you by phone, text message and email about your appointments, estimates, service and membership
• Manage Comfort Club memberships and send maintenance reminders
• Connect you with financing partners when you ask about financing

• Understand how visitors use the Site and improve our website and services
• Measure and improve our advertising
• Protect against fraud and misuse, and comply with legal obligations

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may send texts about your service request, appointments, estimates, service updates, Comfort Club membership and, if you've opted in, occasional offers. Some messages may be sent using automated technology.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver messages.

Website chat

Our website chat is provided through our customer communications platform. Messages you send through chat are stored in our customer records so we can respond and follow up. Some chat responses may be generated automatically to help us respond quickly; a member of our team follows up as needed.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, managed through Google Tag Manager, for these purposes:

• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited and general location, and reports it to us in aggregate. • Other advertising platforms. We may also advertise through platforms such as Microsoft Advertising, which use similar tools to measure ad results.

How we share information

• Service providers who help us run our business, such as our customer relationship and scheduling software, website hosting, call tracking, text messaging, analytics and advertising providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Financing partners, when you ask to apply for financing.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
• Business transfers, if Affordable Air is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Cookies and ads: use your browser settings and the Google tools linked above.
• Access, correction or deletion: email us at info@affordableairchillicothe.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to keep some records for legal, tax or warranty purposes.

Data retention and security

We keep information as long as needed to provide service, maintain warranty and service records, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

The Site may link to other websites, such as our financing partners or manufacturers. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
