Circleville homes span two centuries.
Circleville was laid out as a circle in 1810 around an ancient earthwork, and while the circle was later squared off, the downtown streets still carry a lot of history. Many homes near Court Street and the older neighborhoods around downtown are a century old or more, with basements, boilers or furnaces that have been replaced several times and ductwork that was added long after the house was built. Those homes often benefit from a careful look at airflow before any new equipment goes in.
Farther out, Circleville grew steadily through the 20th century with ranches, split-levels and two-stories on quiet residential streets, most heated with natural gas and cooled with central air.
